Yutong Optics array-molded C-Lens reaches monthly deliveries in the tens of millions

On September 30, Yutong Optics disclosed on its official WeChat account that, building on more than a decade of technical expertise in glass aspheric molding, it has introduced array molding technology into C-Lens manufacturing. The company has completed the entire process from process validation to monthly output in the tens of millions and has entered large-scale production and shipment.

On the capacity front, Yutong Optics currently operates more than 600 sets of precision molding automation equipment, complemented by over 30 imported automatic coating machines, ensuring coating uniformity and product consistency, with a stable first-pass yield above 85%. For C-Lens products, the high-precision molding process has been validated by leading optical module customers and has secured batch orders, with monthly output in the tens of millions now a routine delivery capability.

Yutong Optics said the array molding technology platform offers strong product extensibility and will be systematically extended to the manufacture of high-end optical components such as A-Lens (aspheric lenses) and G-Lens (gradient-index lenses), providing the optical communications industry with a reusable, high-volume molding optics platform.
