O-Film is reportedly the core optics supplier for the Huawei Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max, exclusively supplying the main camera and 200 MP periscope telephoto modules for both models. The Pro Max's external telephoto system is also supplied by O-Film, which has invested in dedicated equipment and carried out renewed process validation for the project.
Kuaikeji, October 8 — According to domestic media reports, O-Film is a core optics supplier for Huawei's Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max flagship models, exclusively supplying the main camera and 200-megapixel periscope telephoto modules for both devices.
The "external" telephoto imaging system of the Pura 90 Pro Max is also supplied by O-Film, which invested in dedicated equipment and carried out renewed testing and process validation for the project.
Industry chain sources said the module delivers excellent yield performance, with both process difficulty and product added value at the top of the industry.
This marks a further consolidation of O-Film's position as a core supplier of optical modules for high-end flagship smartphones, covering the full chain from conventional main cameras to periscope telephoto and external add-on lenses.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Pura 90 Pro Max debuts the industry's first 200-megapixel RYYB periscope telephoto sensor (1/1.28-inch large sensor, F2.6 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization, with telephoto macro support); the company says it captures five times as much light as the iPhone 17 Pro Max. It also debuts a three-in-one ultra-light-gathering prism, reducing module length by 20% and achieving a CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating.
The main camera is a 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor supporting a 10-stop variable aperture from F1.4 to F4.0.
The Pura 90 Pro uses a combination of a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto macro camera, and a 12.5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Ofilm was once deeply embedded in Apple's supply chain. It posted revenue of 7.841 billion yuan in the first half of 2026 and is advancing a three-part business matrix covering smartphones, smart vehicles and new areas. It recently also received DJI's 2025 Outstanding Quality Supplier Award.
