SVG's Micro-Nano Optical Manufacturing Center of Excellence has broken ground in Suzhou with a total investment of about RMB 557 million, including about RMB 353 million for construction and RMB 204 million for equipment, on a 25,000-square-meter site. The center will establish an AI + nano integrated manufacturing platform targeting semiconductor lithography, optical inspection, and novel displays, and will undertake basic research, key technology development, and pilot-scale translation.
The groundbreaking ceremony for SVG's (苏大维格) SVG Micro-Nano Optical Manufacturing Excellence Innovation Center was recently held in Suzhou. Funded through the company's fundraising investment project, the center will establish an AI + nano integrated manufacturing platform to accelerate the industrialization of cutting-edge micro-nanooptics technologies.
The project has a total investment of approximately RMB 557 million, including about RMB 353 million in construction and RMB 204 million in equipment, on a site covering 25,000 square meters. Focusing on semiconductor lithography, optical inspection, and novel displays, the innovation center will undertake frontier basic research, key core technology development, and the commercialization of results.
Once completed, the center will serve multiple functions as a Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory, an advanced technology research institute for micro-nano optical manufacturing, and a pilot-scale incubation base for commercializing research results. It will bridge the path from basic research to engineering and industrialization of micro-nanooptical technologies in the lab, strengthening the company's capabilities in technological innovation and pilot-scale translation in micro-nano optics.
